Beth Dyer, donned the Blue Star of Newcastle University Boat Club and reached the final of Henley Women's Academic Eights this year (2019).
Beth, learned to row at BUBC from 2015 to 2018 and has overcome hyper mobility to become one of the counties top female university oarswomen. Training Harder than She Thought was Possible
BUBC is really proud of Beth and we are hoping her example helps to change the training culture at BUBC. Beth trained harder than she thought was possible to gain her place in the Newcastle boat and the effort paid off. Beth said: "It had a lot to do with belief in yourself, the programme and knowing everyone else was committed to doing the training."
